FIGHT YOU VS LIFE

At times, the deck may be stacked against you. Like you’re the only one who’s ever had to deal with this problem before. You’re the only one who’s ever been so stressed out about something. You’re the only one who can’t seem to get a grip on your life or make it better.

It’s as if nothing will ever change no matter what you do.

But if there’s one thing we know for sure, these feelings are universal, and they come and go as they please. No matter how much you think they’ve got you pinned down, they don’t—you always have the power to fight back and win. And we know because we’ve been in those shoes too.

First, remember—all great journeys start with a single step. The end of your journey will be amazing, but don’t forget to enjoy the beginning of it. Embrace the first step because that’s where so many people get stuck.

Next, accept that life will throw curveballs at you. They’re a fact of life. But when life throws you a curveball, go ahead and swing for the fences anyway! You never know what might happen! And if you strike out? It’s ok! That’s just part of the game! And finally: get up early and do your best work when nobody else is around. When everybody else is asleep, go ahead and put in those extra hours on your dream project. When everyone else wakes up and sees what you’ve accomplished in those pre-dawn hours, they’ll be blown away!

Fighting life isn’t easy, but it is possible. There are tips from people who have been there and come out on the other side:

• Don’t be afraid to take it slow! Life can be easier if you take things one day at a time.
• Make sure you do things that make you happy every day.
• Don’t forget to laugh! Check out dog videos online or read a funny book.
• Talk to your friends and family about how you’re feeling. They might be able to help you find ways to feel better or even give you advice on how they’ve fought life in the past.
